2020 Contract Ratification

Brothers and Sisters,
We hope you are all staying healthy and safe. We are in unprecedented times and need to do
things differently until we can get some normalcy back in our lives.

With that being said, we have a contract that needs to be voted on for ratification. In order to
follow the guidelines of social distancing and limited social gatherings, we have come up with a
way that we can accomplish this.

On April 28, 2020, we will hold our first ever online contract explanation, followed by a drive
through ratification vote.

We have already voted on the April Union Meeting to be a Special Called Meeting for contract
ratification. We will still hold the meeting, although it will not be a Union Meeting per say, it
will give us a chance to explain our contract changes through GOTOMEETING.COM, which
will give us the ability to sign into the meeting remotely. We will have 2 such meetings; the first
meeting will start at 4:30p.m. and the second meeting will start at 6:00p.m. We ask that you only
join one of these meetings, we have a limited number of participants allowed per meeting, so we
want to give a chance to all who are interested in joining.

You will receive a mailing that has the links to join the online meeting or there is a call in number if you
want to call in on your phone. There will be chances at the end of the presentation for questions.

On Wednesday, April 29, 2020, we will have drive through voting stations set up at the Union
Hall. These stations will be open from 12:00p.m. through 6:00p.m.

Station 1 is where you will need to present your I.D. and Union Card and then you will be given
a ballot. You will fill out your name and UA ID # and mark your vote.

Station 2 is where you will cast your ballot with your Yes or No vote into the ballot box and then
drive away.

The votes will be counted on Friday, May 1, 2020, and these will be the deciding votes.
